If you are not a big fan of working on a web browser too much, you can find various applications that let you do everything from your desktop. Twitter is one of the many online services which you can enjoy outside a web browser. The Twitter is absolutely free and you can have it up and running in just a few seconds. Its controls are very easy to understand, so you can start tweeting right away, without encountering any kind of difficulties.

Once you provide your Twitter login credentials, you will be able to view the latest tweets, post new ones yourself, view notifications and messages, search for people and manage your profile, on a compact user interface, without opening a web browser. The aforementioned operations can be carried out on separate pages, which are accessible via navigation buttons, located on the left edge of the interface.

Posting a new tweet is quite simple. All you have to do is click a button, write down what you have to say and click another button to post. You can also attach images from your local folders to your messages. Anything you can do on Twitter with a web browser can be done on the Twitter app as well.

Another advantage is the possibility of associating it with multiple Twitter accounts. You can add new accounts in the general settings menu, where you can also customize the app for each account separately.

Pros

You can perform any action on Twitter, without opening a web browser. The application's user interface is compact, well designed and very easy to understand. Also, the Twitter app can be associated with multiple accounts simultaneously.

Cons

There are no obvious issues to address. With the Twitter on your Mac, you will be able to stay in touch with everyone from the comfort of your desktop.
